Dolphin Cruise

Enjoy a cruise out into the Indian Ocean and admire the vibrant seascape of the Maldivian Islands whilst on the lookout for dolphins. You'll get to top-up your tan sunbathing, capture picture-perfect island beaches on your camera, and see wild dolphins in their natural habitat. Keep a close eye on the waters and you may even see a whale shark.

Big Game Fishing

Take to the crystal-clear waters and try to land the biggest catch. With a bit of luck, you could snag a giant sailfish, a yellow fin tuna, a colourful dorado, a fearsome barracuda, or even an elusive wahoo. A day of big game fishing is a thrilling way to spend your time here.

Parasailing

Sail above the atolls of the Maldives and see the islands in all their splendour. Enjoy the different shades of waters with their network of corals, try to spot dolphins, reef sharks and enormous whale sharks. Gaze out across a series of unimaginable, paradise bays. Many resorts provide sailing, windsurfing, waterskiing and reef sightseeing trips by glass-bottomed boat but above all the Maldives are prized as one of the world''s best diving and snorkelling destinations, thanks to their outstanding and easy-to-access underwater life. Every major resort can offer a professional dive school (with courses for both beginners and experienced divers with daily boat trips to sites around the islands throughout the year. Night dives and special dives for experienced divers are also a feature.

Island-Hopping

Many resorts arrange visits to fishing villages on neighbouring islands – and to uninhabited islands, with a beach barbecue the day’s highlight. Moonlight island excursions are another magical Maldives experience

Night Life

Late-night revellers be warned. Nightlife at the resorts is pretty low-key - although most do have informal discos around the bar, sometimes featuring live bands. Beach parties and barbecues are popular and many resorts also have regular cultural shows. On some islands there are a few restaurants in addition to those run by the resorts - but the only bars are those at the resorts. Even in Male (where no alcohol is available) ‘nightlife’ is confined to teahouses and a few western-style restaurants.

Our lagoon is the perfect playground for watersport enthusiasts. Whatever your experience, learn from the pros as they help you get to grips with windsurfing, kayaking or sailing – the choice is yours. For a fast paced afternoon jet skiing is a great option, or slow it down by simply hopping in a canoe.

Excursions

Explore the islands of the atoll by private boat, or try your hand at catching a prized mahi-mahi on a fishing excursion. To catch a glimpse into local life, our Maldivian local island tour gives you the chance to meet local fisherman, or for something totally different head to our lively capital, Malé, for buzzing markets, mosques and motorbikes galore.

Recreation

It’s not only our lagoon that plays host to island activities, and back on shore there’s more than enough to tempt you off the deck chair. Hit the courts for an afternoon of tennis and badminton, or start some friendly rivalry with a family game of football or beach volleyball.

Diving

Located at the end of the jetty, our SSI-certified dive centre offers easy access to the beautiful house reef. Swim along and meet our underwater neighbours, or take the plunge to uncover underwater caves and sunken ships. If you’re lucky, you may even spot a sea turtle or get up close with the majestic manta rays living close by.

Manta Point

Join us every evening to watch our neighbouring mantas enjoy their plankton dinner. Make the most of the opportunity to get up close with these unique creatures, and watch from the resort jetty as they circle their favourite feeders.

Shipwreck

Take a deep dive to find a hidden shipwreck discovered in Vaavu Atoll, a short boat ride away. Swim amongst the schools of fish that gather in this magical spot, taking some time out to explore what lies beneath the ocean's surface.

Kitesurfing

Harness the power of the wind and propel yourself across the turquoise waters with this exhilarating sport. You’ll hit the waters gliding through the wind on the vast lagoon. Master a new skill with the guidance of our experienced instructors.
