Island-Hopping

Night Life

Late-night revellers be warned. Nightlife at the resorts is pretty low-key - although most do have informal discos around the bar, sometimes featuring live bands. Beach parties and barbecues are popular and many resorts also have regular cultural shows. On some islands there are a few restaurants in addition to those run by the resorts - but the only bars are those at the resorts. Even in Male (where no alcohol is available) ‘nightlife’ is confined to teahouses and a few western-style restaurants.

Diving

The Maldives has some of the world's best diving spots, famous for the plentiful and unique marine fauna. Immerse yourself in the world of silence and magnificent beauty in Baa Atoll. Whether you are a certified diver or wish to discover scuba, do not miss the opportunity to explore the wonders of the underwater world. The world renowned Hanifaru Bay, a UNESCO Protected Biosphere Reserve, is just 12 minutes by boat from our dive centre, where hundreds of Manta rays and whale sharks are seen feeding from May to November in a natural phenomenon. We offer a full day diving trip by Dhoni or by diving boats, either private or in group. You can also enjoy diving with greater mobility and less air consumption with torpedo diver propulsion vehicle.

Excursions

Visit and feel the solitude of a sandbank for a while and continue with a snorkeling trip on top of one of the many Thilas. For leisure trips, we offer sunset cruises, dolphin cruise and flying fish cruise.

Manta on call snorkeling adventure

This once-in-a-life-time experience =is available from May to November. Encounter giant Manta rays up close and swim with them in the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve at Hanifaru Bay.
