Day-1

Arrival in Amritsar – Drive to Dharamshala

On arrival at Amritsar you will be met, assisted and then drive to Dharamshala – Perhaps one of the best holiday destinations since the time of the British. Situated amid coniferous forests, this place is renowned as the holy abode of TheDalai Lama-the leader of Tibetan Buddhism. Explore His home in this picturesque territory and the Centre of Tibetan culture to gain an insight into the place's origin and history. Head to the hub of Buddhist culture in DharamshalaMcLeod Ganj and explore its myriad attractions, including the exotic Kangra valley. Overnight stay in Dharamshala.

Day-2

Sightseeing in Dharamshala

Today post breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of Dharamshala, visit Tsuglagkhang Complex - Centre of Tibetan culture, which includes a museum and the residence of His Holiness Dalai Lama – the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism. Later, visit popular monasteries, Tibetan medical centre, Mcloadganj, Dal Lake, St. John Church and Bhagu Nath Temple. Overnight stay in Dharamshala.

Day-3

Dharamshala – Dalhousie

Today post breakfast check-out and drive to Dalhousie. Enroute visit Dharamshala Cricket stadium, this ground is the highest fully functional international cricket ground in the world. Later continue journey to Dalhousie, On arrival at Dalhousie, check-in to the hotel. Later, visit St. John’s Church. It was the first to be built after the town of Dalhousie was founded. Overnight stay in Dalhousie

Day-4

Sightseeing in Dalhousie with Khajjiar Excursion

Today post breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Khajjiar which is 23 kms from Dalhousie by road and 13 kms from Kalatop is the Mini-Switzerland of India - Khajjiar. The lush green meadows are surrounded by thick pine and cedar forests. There is a small lake in the center of the saucer shaped meadow which has in it a floating island. A little away from the lake is the temple of Khajji Nag belonging to 12th C. AD. The sanctum ofthe temple has been beautifully carved from wood. Later in the afternoon back to Dalhousie and visit St. John’s Church. It was the first to be built after the town of Dalhousie was founded. Overnight stay in Dalhousie.

Day-5

Drive from Dalhousie – Amritsar

Today post breakfast, check-out and drive to Amritsar - colloquially known as Ambarsar, is a spiritually significant city for the followers of Sikhism. The city derives its name from the sacred pool, which was founded in 1574 by Guru Ram Das - the 4th Sikh guru. This holy pond circumscribes Harmandir Sahib, which is popularly known as the Golden Temple amongst devotees. On arrival at Amritsar, visit Jalianwala Bagh. Late in the afternoon, proceed to India-Pakistan border at Wagah. Watch the ‘Beating the Retreat’ ceremony where soldiers of both countries bring down their respective national flags in their unique styles. Evening back to Amritsar and visit the iconic Golden Temple and then check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Amritsar.

Day-6

Departure from Amritsar

Today post breakfast, you will be transferred to Amritsar Railway station / airport for return journey back home
