    • Day-1
      Kota Kinabalu
Soak up the charm of Sabah’s lively capital as we visit the Kota Kinabalu’s most significant sites. Upon arrival at the airport, we are greeted by our guide and transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon, we depart on our sightseeing tour and drive through the capital formerly known as Singgahmata or ‘the place where the eye lingers.’ We visit city centre places of interests including Wisma Tun Mustapha (the Sabah Foundation Building), the University of Sabah, the State and City Mosque and the Sabah Museum which gives an insight into the history and culture of indigenous people. We enjoy a brief stop at Signal Hill for an awesome bird’s-eye view of the city skyline and nearby islands.
Please note: Large coaches are not permitted to travel up Signal Hill due to safety reasons. If time permits, we stop at Kadaiku, a shop which stocks authentic Sabahan handicrafts that are supplied directly by a local tribal community. Returning to the hotel, the rest of the day is free at leisure.

The journey is often part of the adventure and our two-hour scenic drive to Kinabalu Park passes villages and paddy fields along mountainous roads that wind along the Crocker Range. We then transfer (about 60 minutes) to Poring Hot Springs to take a dip in the open-air Japanese-style baths. The sulphuric minerals of these natural hot springs are believed to have therapeutic qualities thatrelieve muscle aches and pains
